Alvina Valenta

This classic couture collection is designed by Victoria McMillan.

Alvina Valenta gowns are known for their timeless elegance, sophistication and most especially their attention to detail. All of the dresses are finished by hand, as well as the beading and their signature hand rolled roses. Every hem is finished with lace right down to the petticoat hem!

Alvina Valenta gowns are made of the finest silks, satin shantung, and satin organza to name a few. McMillan loves to experiment with pastel shades in all of these fabrics as well as the expected white and ivory.

One of the collection's most successful silhouettes has been their full circular tulle skirt. Whether it is finished with a lace hem or without, with a beaded tank bodice, or a simple unadorned silk satin one, these dresses exude a festive, fun yet elegant feel.

McMillan believes the bride should be the main focus of the wedding, and the dress should only enhance her beauty.

Augusta Jones

he Augusta Jones style is defined by contemporary clean lines with a twist - usually in the form of an unexpected bejeweled detail. Started in 1999 by Charlotte Leung, her wedding dress label "Augusta Jones", set out to do things differently. She needed a range of bridal gowns that would fulfill three basic requirements: beautiful styling; flexibility of the range to suit a variety of shapes; and affordability. The dilemma was finding an existing line that could fulfill all three criteria. In the end she designed a small line for her own shop to offer brides these options. With the success of her initial bridal collection, she was encouraged to launch the range in England in September 1999. Wanting to offer brides a complete look, she then added a stylish range of shoes and veils. The label is now available in over 150 shops worldwide.

Born in Denmark to a Danish mother and British Chinese father, she divides her time living and working between London and Hong Kong. After her first collection, Charlotte Leung teamed up with her stepmother, June Leung, an award-winning designer in her own right. June Leung brought her passion for art deco and period piece jewelry to the collection - very much in evidence by the extravagant detailing found in key pieces. They spend their time between the sample room and equally important, traveling the world for inspiration. Successful from the start, this young company has been awarded three British Bridal finalist awards within the first two years of introducing the label. Their work is regularly featured editorially in Cosmopolitan Bride, In-Style Wedding, Brides, Wedding & Home, and You & Your Wedding.

Daniel Thompson

The Daniel Thompson Collection includes a wide array of different styles from sleek sheaths to A-lines to ball gowns. We create with luxurious silks embelished with rich alencon lace work, beading, and embroideries.

Daniel Thompson always knew that he wanted to design bridal gowns.

Daniel graduated from the world renowned Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City in 1975 and immediately went to work in Boston for the well-known 'Priscilla of Boston', under the direct tutelage of Jim Hjelm. Daniel returned to New York City where he was promoted to head bridal designer at Pandora Frocks. He later designed for Aria Bridals, Jena Bridals, Marina Bridals, Bill Levkoff, and Galina.

Daniel then spent ten years building his own internationally-known company designing custom-made bridal, mother-of-the-bride, Bat Mitzvah, Bar Mitzvah, evening, and Debutante gowns.

Recently, he began making his couture bridal collection available to fine bridal stores such as Kleinfeld in New York City and as far away as Tokyo.

In 1999, Daniel Thompson relocated his business from the 'Bridal Building' at 1375 Broadway, NYC, to his hometown of Carlisle, PA. And in March 2006, he moved his design and manufacturing studio to Mt. Holly Springs, Pennsylvania. From here, he continues to bring his unique blend of industry expertise, design artistry, and individual attention to brides worldwide.

He's local, from Carlisle, and we're the only one who carries him in the entire state of PA.
